About This List

This is a list of all of the files and folders on the three DVDs in the distribution package mailed in December 2010 from Charles A. Bliley, Rochester, NY. For a glimpse into the location, my work setup and actvities on this trip, click here.

The list is offered as a quick text search tool for files and folder names. You can use this with your computer’s search tool to locate the file or folder. In general, the DVDs are ordered alphabetically with family names used most often. In all there are over 800 files and folders.

Getting Started

Please review the “+Start Here” folder before looking at the DVDs’ contents. No doubt you have already found it or you would not be reading this file. :-)

In the +Start Here folder you will also find a Web show of the materials photographed on my visit to Boulder in August of 2007. That was a very short visit and some of the items in the Web gallery were rescanned or photographed during the October 2010 visit.

The contents of the DVDs do not represent all of the digital assets I have on the relating to my genealogy. Perhaps, someday technology will allow for the distribution of all of my resources in a single convenient package. Alas, today is not the time.

In general, the contents are from the period from 1830 through 1955. There are a few more recent items that I found interesting or just wanted to look at more closely when I returned home.

Previews

The links below will allow you to preview the contents of the DVDs. They only include the photographic images and do not include PDFs nor text files. Some images are multilayered and only the top view is shown. Caution: These galleries contain large images and may be a challenge for visitors connecting by dial-up connections.

Please Note: A typographical error was made in the spelling of "Brown". It is inadvertently spelled "Borwn". Since the CDs have been distributed, I am not changing the Web page list as they are what will be found on the CDs.
